When faced with death and tragedy, life is put into perspective. Sometimes the perspective brings a harsh reality and sorrow, but sometimes through that perspective it helps you see what is good.
While this sorrow is still real and the emotions feel raw in my own life, I hope that some of this optimism can rub off on me. :) In the meantime, I realized how blessed I have been to learn from such a strong, humble, loving and wonderful woman as my grandmother. Love you, Grammy.
